Windsum Consignment

Thank you for considering Windsum Enterprises for the reselling of your quality show clothing and tack items! We appreciate your business and will make every effort to sell your items efficiently and at fair market value.

Please contact us at with any questions regarding your consignments prior to sending them.

1.) Windsum accepts only clean items in good condition and of current styling. We specialize in consigning high quality designer show clothes and tack items. Any items that Windsum received that are not accepted will have the option of being returned to the consignor at their cost, or donated to a local non-profit organization.

2.) If items are in need of cleaning, pressing, or repair, a minimum fee of $10.00 will be assessed and deducted from the first sale on your consignor account.

3.) We will set starting prices for your items with you. Windsum Enterprises reserves the right to reduce prices as necessary at our discretion. You may opt to place a “lowest acceptable selling price” on your items. By placing a reserve price on your item(s) you agree to pay a minimum $10 handling fee, return shipping and/or make arrangements for pick up of unsold items at the end of the consignment period.

4.) If your item(s) have not sold within 1 year from the date of consignment, it is the responsibility of the consignor to make arrangements for shipping or picking up the item(s). The consignor will pay for any and all return shipping costs.

5.) Please contact Windsum via email regarding your expiring items within 60 days to discuss your remaining items. If arrangements are not made within 90 days of that time, your items will become the property of Windsum Enterprises.

 

6.) After receiving your items, Windsum will market them by appointment at our showroom. We will do our best to ensure your items safe from theft.

7.) Consignment Payouts: Upon the sale of your item(s) you will receive these percentages:

Clothing / tack Consignment:              Saddle Consignment:

• 70% on items $99 and under            • 70% on saddles $499 and under

• 75% on items over $100                     • 75% on saddles over $500

8.) Please contact us to request consignor payout cheques.  Amounts owing will be available approximately three weeks after the end of each month for items that have sold. To keep our administrative costs down we would like to issue cheques for over $100.
